Seth Berger has his share of problems. An obvious gambling addiction, a girlfriend who's had it up to here with him, and arguably the world's most terrible job. But now he's got something even worse - a dead body on his hands!

In Quicklime, high-strung phone center salesman Seth Berger (Rob Mello) is mortified when Rocco (Trevor S. Anderson) – a loan shark – shows up at Seth’s job to collect on his gambling debts, corners him in a closet, then drops dead of a heart attack. Knowing how dangerous the loan-shark's boss is, Seth realizes he has to get rid of Rocco’s body before anyone realizes he was involved. Seth tries every idea in the book to get rid of Rocco, but just as he thinks he may have a solution he runs into Rocco’s boss (Christopher Koron), who’s been watching the whole time!

Trivia

Austin McKinley first developed the 'Quicklime' concept in 2002 as part of a series of color-themed comic shorts along with 'The Adventures of Agent Orange' and 'Marooned,' but didn't take it any further until it won the Florida Film Network's 2012 Operation: Logline contest. He wrote a treatment for the final round pitch and won!
